POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN ASTHMA EPIDEMIOLOGY & TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH. Available position for a recent Ph.D. in epidemiology or clinical-translational research. The major scientific programs of the Center for Asthma Research are to identify common and modifiable etiologies of asthma, and to develop new interventions to prevent the most common acute and chronic diseases of childhood The candidate???s major commitment will be to research with either distinguished performance, or the promise of distinguished performance and independent extramural funded research. Considerable experience in study design, the conduct of epidemiologic, clinical or translational studies, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, and strong quantitative skills are essential.
